Senior Quantity Surveyor (PQS), Consultancy, Outskirts of Belfast City Centre, £40,000 - £60,000.

Hays are working on behalf of a well-established consultancy who offer professional consultancy services in Quantity Surveying, Contract Consultancy and Project Management. The practice has extensive experience in the successful delivery of projects in both Public and Private Sectors including Hotels, Leisure, Offices, Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Health, Education, Residential, Conservation, Civil Engineering and Public Realm works. They are accredited to ISO 9001 quality assurance and maintain the latest IT infrastructure, software and systems for fast and accurate measurement and management of projects.

Your new role
You will have responsibility for the cost management of projects, producing bills of quantities, estimating and cost planning. You will be involved with full pre and post contract quantity surveying, attending site meetings and design briefings, alongside preparing interim valuations and site measurement.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you should possess: A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying; 6 years+ experience working as a PQS; ideally MRICS status; Strong ability to produce bills of quantities; Ability to manage project budgets effectively; Excellent client facing skills; Strong organisational capabilities; Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
