Hays Property & Surveying have been appointed by our client, a Chartered Quantity Surveying and Project Management Practice, to find a Quantity Surveyor for their team in London. My client is a team of commercial and contract management staff providing services to clients in the utilities, transportation, construction and dispute resolutions. They pride themselves on providing the highest quality service with a creative approach that is cost effective.

Your new role

You will be part of the commercial team predominantly based out of client offices. You will be required to visit other local offices and sites. You will be required to lead, develop and support the commercial team, provide accurate costs, forecasts and reporting on project spend and to assist them with the collation, reconciliation and reporting of project data and provide cost and budget advice.

What you'll need to succeed

• Have knowledge of NEC Contracts & sub-contract administration
• Experience in a similar role with knowledge of subcontracts
• Knowledge and experience of finance function Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Experience as a lead QS on projects/ large packages will be advantageous
