Estates Surveyor job undertaking general practice surveying duties in Scarborough for a large organisation

Your new role
Dealing with all aspects of the disposal and acquisition of land and property.
Assisting with the management of the commercial property portfolio which includes industrial, office, retail, agricultural and other miscellaneous properties.
Dealing with matters such as rent reviews, lease renewals, assignments, new lettings and other Landlord and Tenant matters.
Assisting with the rationalisation of the existing portfolio with a view to maximising the quality and quantity of land and property returns.
Supervision, development and support of colleagues within the Estates team.
Writing reports for Cabinet, Individual Cabinet Members, Committees and Project Boards.
Attendance at Committees, Project Boards and Working Groups to provide professional property advice.
Provision of professional estates management, valuation, negotiation and advisory service to the Council's client departments to assist in delivering an effective and efficient service.
Project appraisals, and assisting with project team assignments.
Undertaking site surveys, inspections and condition reports.
Preparation of detailed plans of land and buildings.
Liaison with public utilities and other third party organisations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be MRICS with experience in a property management, landlord and tenant, or general practice role, with at least 3 years post qualification experience. You will have experience of undertaking a range f surveying and property matters across a mix of commercial property.
