Senior Property Management Surveyor
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RICS Chartered Surveyor to play a key role in the management of the Land and Property Portfolio held by Connexus, a social housing provider with 10,500 properties across Shropshire and Herefordshire.
As the Senior Property Management Surveyor, you will manage all aspects of commercial business leases held by Connexus Housing Group, including rent reviews, negotiating and reviewing leases. You will also manage acquisition and disposal of properties identified through our dynamic asset management process. The position will require you to deal with all aspects of wayleaves, easements and covenants and maintain the Asset Register on the company’s database and GIS system. You will liaise with Land Registry in resolving boundary issues and will be responsible for maintaining the Group’s tree risk register and riparian responsibilities information. In this role, you will report to the Strategic Asset Manager and will be assisted by and provide RICS mentoring to a Property Management Surveyor.
This role offers you flexibility on location and you will be required to work from home as well as our offices in Hereford, Craven Arms & Wem.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with proven experience within a commercial property management department and a knowledge of the practical workings of the property repairs and maintenance industry. We are also looking for someone with experience of effectively engaging internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of works, services and process change.
In return we offer the opportunity for an ambitious surveyor to grow and progress within the organisation, taking advantage of our fantastic learning and development opportunities. In addition, we offer both an attractive pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
