Job Details
Are you an experienced building surveyor who is not being recognised or progressing? Do you have the skills and contacts to lead a department? Do you want to make a significant impact to a business?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading consultancy in Cardiff. Currently, their work in South Wales is being serviced by their established building surveying team in Bristol, and due to a very busy pipeline of work, the business would like to set up a new department.
The successful candidate will be the first building surveyor in Cardiff and will be managed by the building surveying director in Bristol, and supported by the wider national building and projects team of 60 people. You will be dealing with some of the best clients in the market including blue-chip and private clients such as major funds, developers, investors, banks, managing agents and occupiers.
Essential experience
- MRICS with minimum 2-years PQE
- Experience of design and contract administration duties - principally repair and maintenance works with some fit out
- Dilapidations, acting on behalf of landlords/tenants
- Schedules of condition
- Fire insurance/reinstatement valuations
- Planned maintenance
- Acquisition/building surveys
The ideal candidate will already be an established building surveyor in Cardiff/South Wales with a successful track record of developing new and existing client relationships.
