Senior Town Planner

The Company

Joshua Robert is currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary consulting group (with their planning arm being one of the largest planning firms nationally).  The group consists of Town Planning, Architecture/Master Planning and Urban Design through to Transport Design.

Due to continued expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join their team in Rugby.  With no ‘glass ceiling’ the practice offers excellent opportunities for advancing your career including mentoring programmes and tailored training for individuals. The Role

As a Senior Planner, you will have exposure to a variety of projects of varying sizes across both Public and Private sector clients.  Your role will be busy and varied and involve:

• The provision of offering planning advise, managing associated external consultants and the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals and local plan representations. 

The Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will:

• Have a strong understanding of local and national planning policy
• Fully competent in report and letter writing (in line with the English planning system)

Membership of RTPI is highly sought after (although not essential, it will go a long way in supporting your application).
