Project Manager - Commercial Property

Our Client is a multi-disciplinary firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists, working across every aspect of the built environment. They are seeking a Project Manager with Commercial Experience to join their team in London.

The Role

Based in London, the Project Manager will form part of the global project management team, working closely with Corporate Real Estate client teams in a major investment bank. The role has the flexibility to grow into more complex roles with other property clients in due course. The Project Managers role will also involve:

* Being the day-to-day project manager, contract administrator and/or commercial manager on a £50M+ programme of works
* Working as part of a team to deliver commissions
* Delivering work to a high standard of client satisfaction and professional excellence.
* Supporting developing new work with current and new clients, building client relationships and working on proposals.
* Developing your own skills to ensure on-going flexibility and value to clients.
* Supporting the development of new service offerings.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

* Minimum of a good first degree in a relevant subject, and working towards a suitable professional qualification (ChPP or similar).
* Experience of the delivery of similar projects or programmes - ideally with an understanding of operating 'client-side' with a Corporate Occupier.
* Able to understand client needs - ideally related to Corporate Real Estate - and act in ways to meet them
* Demonstrable project management experience having worked as part of a team on planning or delivery of fit-out, office or property related schemes
* Knowledge of developments, trends and drivers in the UK property sector
* Good commercial and contractual awareness
* Strong Stakeholder management skills at all levels
* Able to report progress (written and verbal) and answer questions accordingly and write monthly reports
