Location: Base Office - Mid Beds

Salary Guide: c. £35,000 Negotiable Dependant on Experience + Contributory Pension + Free Parking

Your new company
You will be working client side for a large, well-established property maintenance company assisting with the management of a commercial portfolio of properties.

Your new role
As a property manager you will work alongside the Senior Management Surveyor assisting them with a broad range of duties. You will be involved with the marketing and letting of vacant properties and coordinating dilapidations claims at the end of tenancy. You will also assist the surveyor in day to day property management tasks and also work alongside the contracts manager in obtaining quotes.

Your main responsibilities:
You will be letting vacant properties and maintaining vacant property schedules, preparing marketing information, conducting property viewings and organising works and certification needed for premises prior to letting. You will also undertake comprehensive hand-overs with in-going tenants.

You will be responsible for coordinating dilapidations claims at the end of tenancy. This will involve preparing and servicing schedules of dilapidations, negotiating financial settlements and assisting surveyor with adhoc duties such as tenant queries and insurance claims.

What you'll need to succeed
Knowledge and experience of the above responsibilities are essential for this role. You'll need to be a bright, hard-working and committed individual. Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills are desirable in this role, along with a willingness to learn and be guided by your Line Manager.
