RelRec are delighted to bring to the market this fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Commercial/Investment Valuation Surveyor to join our clients growing Lending and Corporate Valuation Team.

This role will include undertaking valuations over a wide range variety of investment property classes across the UK, especially focusing on London and the Home Counties for loan security purposes. Your clients will include institutional pension funds, investment fund managers, high net worth individuals and family estates. There will also be the opportunity to undertake loan security valuations, purchase advisory, tax and other ad hoc valuations, which may include financial viability assessments.

The role provides you with the opportunity to grow and gain from new and challenging experiences in the world of commercial property valuation advisory. You will work within an agile team and have a degree of autonomy in the work you undertake. Requirements:

- Directly involved with the growth of the commercial valuation business
- Ability to lead on the valuation of portfolios reporting directly to clients
- High quality presentation skills, with the ability to present information accurately and succinctly both orally and in reports
- Ability to reach firm and justifiable conclusions on values for work undertaken by yourself and other members of the team
- Ability to work independently with minimal peer review
- Ability to deal with several instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively
- Deliver fee income commensurate with role
- Capable of applying current market insight and knowledge to valuation modelling, including a 'stand back and look' approach based on high quality analysis of supportable market data
- Highest standard of quality control and self-review ability is essential prior to peer review
- Ability to co-ordinate and manage larger and more complicated instructions, including the time and resources of junior members of the team, including quality control
- Ability to deal with several instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively
- Undertake a role in the promotion and development of the valuation offering across the firm
- Actively manage and grow client base to deliver financial goals
- Contribute to graduate development
- Deliver fee income commensurate with role
- Member of the RICS (MRICS/FRICS)
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Driving licence

Essential Experience:

- Demonstrable depth of experience in undertaking fund valuation work across the UK
- Proven record in valuation of a wide range of commercial property in a number of sectors
- Experience of direct reporting to clients with good client satisfaction results
- Good working knowledge of principal valuation software packages, including Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer and Capitalisation, and KEL Sigma & Developer
- Experience of enhancing business performance through use of technology (PropTech), smart working processes, and developing new business initiatives that have led to growth and profitability
- Established personal market profile with a range of clients, business and professional network
- Track record of being an active new business generator
- Fully conversant with up to date RICS Valuation - Professional Standards and financial reporting standards for UK GAAP and IFRS for valuations
- Knowledge of Automated Valuation Models (AVM) is desirable.

Our client are offering a very competitive salary package circa £45k - £70k + generous package. Please note we would consider more for outstanding candidates.
