We have an exciting opportunity for a Master of Works to join us and ensure the timely delivery of the maintenance and refurbishment of our College’s historically built environment and sports ground.
In this position, you will manage the planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes for all College properties and work with our Treasurer to further build upon our long-term strategy for sites and facilities, which includes the implementation and evolution of our masterplan.
To succeed, you should have substantial experience of managing building projects and maintenance programmes and be of graduate calibre, with a suitably recognised professional qualification.
Founded in 1326, we are the fifth oldest of the University of Oxford’s constituent colleges. The majority of our buildings date from the 17th century onwards and include the Chapel, Pantin Library, Senior Library, and Hall. Situated in the heart of Oxford, we are home to around 300 undergraduate and 250 postgraduate students, as well as around 100 members of academic staff, and pride ourselves on being a welcoming academic community, home to world-class teaching, learning and research.
