Quantity Surveyor | Consultancy | Temp to Perm


Your new company

My client is a small consultancy that offer services across Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, Cost Consultancy and Project Management. They are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor on a temp to perm basis (working for a short period of time temp with the intension to go perm) in their Central based office.


Your new role

This is a client facing role where you will be required to manage projects across residential and commercial sectors. You will responsible for cost planning and site visits for various sites around London. You will liaise directly with contractors, take a lead on commercial tenders, bids and proposals. You will take charge of cost planning, budgeting & estimating, preparation of tender documents & reporting on tenders, assembly of contract documentation and finally cost reporting and monitoring, all for the purpose of lending.


What you'll need to succeed

• You will have a clear track record leading on projects and overseeing key relationships with contractors to deliver the work
• Have excellent and proven knowledge of techniques for monitoring and controlling programme budgets along with the ability to identity and engage successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders and to appreciate and absorb expertise from a wide range of disciplines
• A degree in Quantity Surveying
• Relevant PQE in a similarly complex environment and experience of NEC contract administration preferred
