Development Surveyor - South Yorkshire
Quarterbridge Project Management Ltd. requires the full-time service of an experienced and motivated Chartered Development Surveyor, reporting directly to the board, to supervise and deliver an ambitious multi-million pound re-development of the Doncaster Market Estate and other sites in the region.
Quarterbridge is instrumental in re-developing retail market halls throughout the UK and has been retained for the long-term re-development of the Doncaster Market estate and other assets located within the region.
Project work includes re-developing a number of historically important and iconic buildings and also to co-ordinate the project management discharging dilapidation obligations in a multi-million pound project set to last many years.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team of property, architectural and retailing professionals, you will be required to provide expertise and advice on all property development related matters working flexibly according to business needs and the portfolio of buildings.
Specifically the successful candidate will be required to:
- Assist with the client’s redevelopment plans and dilapidation requirements and dovetailing them to form a coherent development strategy
- Liaising with the project architect, quantity surveyor, M&E engineers and other normal professional disciplines
- Identify opportunities for development, and undertake options appraisals for development.
- Undertaking valuations and appraisals on a phase by phase basis and to monitor capital expenditure budgets
- Manage projects, from conception to completion. Interpret, coordinate and project manage data from the various sources.
- Have excellent project adherence, budget, client facing demeanour and inter/personnel communicative sills.
The post is full-time and will be offered at between £35K - £45K per annum depending on the calibre and experience of the successful applicant.
