Planned Maintenance Manager

Are you seeking the next step up in your career? A leading London RP are seeking a planned maintenance manager. The role is outside IR 35

You'll report into the head of asset management and lead on a number of maintenance based projects. The planned maintenance manager will have direct line management responsibility for 3 building surveyors. The team delivers projects ranging from component renewals such as roofing projects, kitchens and bathrooms to complex building pathology and defect corrections.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a team to delivering a planned maintenance programme
• Reporting on progress of various projects to senior management
• Managing & building relationships with framework consultants/contractors
• Managing an annual budget of between £5-10 million

The ideal candidate with have a background in building surveying and a track record of delivering in a social housing environment. Previous management experience is preferred but candidates looking to step up into management are encouraged to apply if they hold previous surveying and social housing experience. Candidates without a surveying background but hold experience in management and delivery of planned maintenance programmes will also be considered.
