Synopsis:          Monitoring Surveyor probably from a QS background is required by a national construction consultancy

Location:         London (SE1)

Salary:              £55,000 - £65,000 (car allowance, bonus & BUPA)

About the Senior Monitoring Surveyor opportunity:

This construction consultancy is a leading provider of Building Surveying, Project Management and Cost Management services to new build and refurbishment projects mainly within the commercial, residential, retail, industrial and education and health sectors. They work though a network of offices that cover the UK and have built an excellent reputation with their clients. Their London office is now looking for a Senior Monitoring Surveyor who is a Member of the RICS.

The Senior Monitoring Surveyor is needed to work on a number of developments across the UK.  You will ideally have over 5 years’ experience working within a consultancy or client-side role.  You will be chartered by the RICS and have some monitoring experience and will ideally come from a quantity surveying background.  Experienced of working with funders and banks.

It is also important that you are client facing, proactive, and career focused.

The company is a medium to large sized firm with around 200 employees.  They have a fantastic list of clients and interesting projects.  They have all the structures you’d expect to find at a large corporate but the flexibility of a smaller firm.

Skills needed for the Senior Monitoring Surveyor:
