Building Surveyor

Are you seeking the next challenge in your career? A leading London RP are seeking a Building surveyor.

You'll report into the planned maintenance manager and lead on a number of maintenance based projects. You will work alongside a team of building surveyors have direct responsibility for major works schemes. The team are responsible for the delivery of the planned maintenance programme. Projects can range from renewals of roofs, kitchen & bathrooms, as well as complex building pathology & defect corrections.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing planned & cyclical works programmes
• Investigating complex building refurbishments projects & maintenance issues
• Managing consultants & contractors
• Writing & reviewing specifications
• Managing on site quality assurance

The ideal candidate with have a background in building surveying and a track record of delivering in a social housing environment. Candidates are either MCIOB or MRICS qualified are particularly encouraged to apply. Building surveyors with experience across other sectors will be considered if they can demostrate knowledge and an ability to operate within social housing.
