Project Manager

The Role

A Project Management role - a key factor in this job is the support of both the Project Director and the Project Finance Manager. As well as the management and supervision of contractors and consultants, you will successfully deliver a number of projects, with a combined value of over £50 million. This process includes establishing briefs, engaging consultants, gaining approval for the project, constructing building, and following through on snagging. Taking charge of some multi-million capital works, you will have a high level of responsibility for these, while consistently liaising with the Project Director, along with the Project Finance Manager, in order to make sure completion runs smoothly

About you

Ideally, you will have a strong degree, experience of working in construction, capital projects, architecture or surveying and a qualification in a field related to these. You will be proactive in your work, taking initiative, problem solving and providing attention to detail in everything you do. Strong stakeholder liaison is important, alongside a confident, cheery disposition in order to fit in with the happy community the school fosters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior or assistant project manager to further their career with some of the biggest education based projects in the country.
