Description

The Estate Strategy Manager leads on the development and implementation of all estate strategies relating to the client's global portfolio of properties. This includes the development and implementation of the Global Asset Management Strategy & Plan and Regional Asset Management Plans.

This role will work across global estates to support business case governance and approvals, including the prioritisation of the projects based upon funding, essential maintenance and alignment with the identified strategic objectives.

This role coordinates and leads business and financial reporting across global estates and as part of the global estates leadership team, will participate in the development of suitable estates-related policies, processes and procedures befitting an effective and efficient commercial in-house global estates function.

The role will strategically partner the business, leading and aligning global estates strategies with the business strategy through building and leveraging the senior leadership network within the client and the wider Government departments.

Profile

  • Educated to graduate degree level or with equivalent professional experience in a property-related discipline, supported by full membership of and accreditation with a relevant professional property institute (e.g. RICS)
  • Extensive experience of Strategic Occupational Management and Asset Management models including the framework, governance and skills required for delivery.
  • Track record of working in a strategic Estates role.
  • Thorough understanding of the real estate and project management lifecycle and principles.
  • Strong vendor management and commercialism skills, particularly in relationship to alliances/partnerships with service providers.
  • Expert in commissioning and managing multi-disciplinary professionals to achieve requirements.
  • Experience of overseeing programmes of works of all sizes and working with capital budgets.
  • Significant commercial track record relating to occupational management and client-side property transactions.
