Job Details

A Suffolk based Land and Property business with an excellent portfolio and trusted reputation are seeking a Technical Manager to join the Development team and ultimately grow with the business. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000, bonus scheme and further benefits.

The business holds a strong commercial portfolio (£250,000,000 +) and link with many landowners, giving them a distinct advantage over their competitors. They provide Land Promotion, Investment and engage with local communities to help processes run smoothly.

Manager Responsibilities:

  • To add value by providing technical input at feasibility, planning, and build or disposal stages, ensuring the most efficient, value engineered solutions required to deliver schemes cost effectively, in accordance with the project programme
  • Working as a manager and coordinator of all technical matters relating to projects assigned to you
  • Ensuring all relevant surveys are completed alongside research into the area e.g. flood mapping
  • Involvement in fee proposals and managing contractors
  • Attending meetings with clients and the development team
  • Engaging with the community to ensure smooth running of any work being conducted

Manager Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Technical Manager or Coordinator
  • HNC level in construction related discipline
  • Experience gained working for consultants, house builders, developers or contractors
  • Good working knowledge of technical matters related to all aspects of mixed-use development and have a good understanding of the development process
  • Ability to use CAD
  • Some Planning experience
  • Ideally Land Surveying knowledge and experience
  • A desire to manage others is important both internally and externally
