A fantastic opportunity has been created for a Senior Quantity Surveyor by a well-regarded practice in Woking, Surrey.

About the client:

The firm provides building surveying, cdmc, health & safety, project management and quantity surveying services. They work through care, commercial, education, housing and leisure sectors. Clients range from charities, developers, institutions, public bodies, private companies and domestic clients.

The practice is 25 strong, employing building surveyors, CDM coordinators, project managers and also quantity surveyors.

About the role:

Typical responsibilities will include preparing budgets whilst working with estimators for projects whereby you’ll be dealing with cost planning’s and tender costs. Your duties will be preparing reports and dealing with running multiple of projects. The role is diverse, projects and sectors will be stimulating and duties will be including traditional quantity surveying but include employers agents services and project management should you wish.

As the senior quantity surveyor, your role will consist of both pre and post contract services, working with the partners to win new instructions and helping to manage a team of junior surveyors.

About You:

You will ideally be MRICS or MCIOB and have a good level of experience within a consultancy. You will also need to have very strong numeracy skills and be very much capable of working in a client facing role. Your experience will be have been gained within buildings rather than infrastructure or utilities.
