Job Details

An entrepreneurial, boutique developer/investment company who primarily acquire land and obtain planning to add value, are seeking a Senior Land Buyer to lead on their acquisitions. My client is extremely well funded with backing from a Sovereign Wealth Fund based in the Middle East.

My client partners with developers, local authorities and various outfits to primarily deliver residential led schemes. You'll be focusing on sourcing unconditional brownfield sites in London Boroughs and the Home Counties. You'll be part of a close-knit, small team.

Examples of sites my client has acquired are:

  • 500 unit scheme - JV - Home Counties
  • 130 acre site - 2,500 homes development - Home Counties
  • 250 unit scheme - Home Counties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing unconditional land
  • Appraising opportunities and carrying out due diligence
  • Expanding on your own network of land contacts
  • Liaising with in-house development team

You ideally will have/be:

  • A track record of sourcing unconditional sites
  • A strong network of contacts to aid you in sourcing land/assets
  • A strong understanding of brownfield constraints
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
