Head of Building Surveying

Your new company

This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative and expanding business and lead their building surveying team. This Real Estate advisory and management firm is widely respected in the city for their forward-thinking approach concerning the residential and commercial property markets. The company is securing business at a rate which has required the need for a Chartered Building Surveyor to manage the existing team of building consultants.

Your new role

• Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters
• Dilapidations
• Lead and oversee projects of varying scales and values
• Strategic business decisions including, seeking to develop new business, including up-selling and identification of new business opportunities
• Train, lead and manage a small team
• To work directly with the client from conception to completion
• To conduct pre-acquisition surveys

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a chartered building surveyor to be considered for this role and have a strong understanding of construction and bespoke technical projects. It is expected that you will be comfortable working in a client facing role, have great commercial awareness and be highly driven. Furthermore, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
