THE ROLE

My client seeks a Senior Project Manager to join them in the City of London area to work mainly on a good range of construction based projects across London and the South East.

My client is in fantastic offices with casual spaces, sitting and standing desks, in-house dining and excellent views across London.

They also offer a wide range of benefits above and beyond the normal range.

Projects are varied including a range of commercial buildings, large residential and mixed use projects valued from around £25m upwards.

You will carry out the full range of pre contract and post contract services from feasibility through project delivery.

You will deal directly with clients and be able to run your own projects ideally without supervision.

You will be involved in the following duties:- Overseeing the management of multiple projects, client management, project delivery, managing others, ensuring technical excellent, supporting management etc.

THE CLIENT

My client is a successful firm of construction and engineering consultants.

Their project management team is highly successful working with a huge range of Blue Chip clients on high value projects which includes new build and fit-out.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management or another construction / built environment subject.

Ideally you will be MRICS / MAPM or similarly qualified.

You also need to have at least four years' minimum experience working as a Project Manager post graduation in the construction industry.

You should have worked for either a firm of construction consultants or with a developer.

Experience of running projects from inception through all RIBA stages through to handover is required.

Ideally you will have worked on a range of projects in the commercial sector and experience of large residential / mixed use projects would be useful.

My client seeks candidates who have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), who are enthusiastic and dynamic to deal with challenging projects and demanding clients and able to work without supervision.

Salary will be very negotiable according to your current salary and requirements for a new role.
