A superb opportunity has been created for Chartered Building Surveyor to join a well-established Partnership in Crawley. The partnership formed over 100 years ago are now looking to expand there building surveying team due to the influx of project offers.

The firm we are representing employ in excess of 100 professional staff throughout the private and public sector, formed of 7 offices situated in the South East. The opportunity is within the building consultancy unit, which carries out building surveying, health & safety, principal designer and project surveying services. They work through commercial, residential, retail and leisure sectors. Clients range from charities, developers, institutions, occupiers and private clients.

If successful, you will be based in the Crawley office. The building surveying team are comprised of three partners, three associates, five chartered surveyors and a number of graduates. You will be required to continue and maintain their project line with existing projects and also demonstrate the ability to bring new business to the company.

We are looking to secure a Chartered Building surveyor who has diverse sector exposure and also 3-6 years PQE. Usual duties include contract Administration on projects up to £1million, building surveys, party wall notices and awards, construction monitoring, health & safety, planning permissions, feasibility studies, and some dilapidations.

You will be seen as the clients trusted advisor and the main point of contact, so you must be able to demonstrate dealing with multiple stakeholders and are familiar with working in a large practice. Having Managed a small or large team will also be beneficial.
