Residential Asset Manager - North London

I am currently working with North London Borough currently looking to recruit a highly experienced interim Asset Manager to join their Property Services.

The role

The role will mainly be based around assisting with the development of a comprehensive asset manager strategy for all council owned and managed stock. Added to this you will provide current and accurate information on the conditions of asset, their performance and develop a 1-5 year investment programmes for major refurbishment and maintenance. You will also play a key role in supporting the Strategic Asset Manager in securing the continuous development, improvement, efficient and success of the property services as a whole.

What you need

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
• PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification/training or demonstrable experience
• Knowledge and experience of asset planning and directing investment through major works programmes
• Experience of implementing rigorous performance and monitoring systems and approaches to data collection, management and integrity
• Experience of collating data to inform short to long term strategies and objectives
• Proven experience of contributing to long term plans for capital and revenue expenditure, including effective financial planning and budget setting and optimisation
• Expert understanding of housing asset management and relevant policies, processes and procedures
• Knowledge and understanding of the economic value of assets

What you will get in return

• 3 month initial contract (Likely to be extended)
• £350-£450 a day depending on experience and level
• Homeworking and compressed hours available
