Senior/Chartered Building Surveyor;

An award-winning property consultant is seeking a Senior/Chartered Building Surveyor to join their commercial focused team.

My client is based within the heart of London's West End, they have recently moved into open planned modern offices which offer a positive working environment. The practice has over 50 surveyors across various surveying divisions.

Predominately the firm undertakes projects in the commercial sector for developers, financial corporations and high-end private clientele. The work is spilt 70% professional and 30% projects you'll work on schemes from inception to completion. The organisation prides themselves on providing an extremely high level of professionalism, you'll be tasked with developing existing and new stakeholders.

Progression is a key driver for this organisation as a group and individually they're constantly striving to improve. They have career development programmes in place to encourage promotion and increase financial earnings. You're given specific objectives and targets to achieve Partner level status.

Responsibilities;

• Dilapidations
• Schedules of condition
• Technical Due Diligence (Pre acquisition building surveys)
• Party wall matters
• Contract administration
• Project Management
• Feasibility studies
• Building insurance reinstatement cost assessments
• Preparing specifications for contract documents

Requirements;

• MRICS
• Commercially aware
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Client facing
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent time management & organisation skills
