Building Surveyor on a ongoing temporary contract

Your new company
You will be working for a well established housing association who are based in the Essex area.

Your new role
As a Building Surveyor you will be providing expert advise to support the responsive repairs and planned maintenance program. Day to day duties will consist of pre-inspections and stock condition surveys to identify defects followed by specifications and cost estimates for the remedial works. Once the works are completed you will be undertaking post inspections to ensure quality and that budgets are met.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have extensive knowledge of domestic repairs and experience of working in a building maintenance team of a local authority of housing association. You will need to be able to repair specification of works, contracts and have excellent working knowledge of health and safety procedures.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £23-28 per hour.
