The Role
The Primary purpose of this post is the responsibility for the strategic development, monitoring and programme management of the Assets and Growth Strategy for the Growth & Place Department. 

Job Responsibilities
You will be expected to manage the overall programme of work arising from the assets and growth strategy, reporting directly into the Head of Development. Monitoring the implementation of the strategy across the department as well as taking financial responsibility for the programme budgets and development forecasts. Program plan all project procurement and governance, in line with council or funding stream compliance requirements. Ultimately ensuring timely delivery of all project information to enable successful programme management. 
You will be supporting the team in the design and implementation phases of the project, leading the departments approach to risk management – mitigating all risk against the programme.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be Degree qualified with a substantial track record in project and programme management, ideally within complex housing development, infrastructure or regeneration projects. Previous experience in a multi-stakeholder environment and being able to clearly demonstrate good influencing and negotiation skills are essential.
