Contract Estate Surveyor

Estate Surveyor £37-£43 per hour

An exciting new opportunity has emerged in Northamptonshire. This local authority is seeking an Interim Estate Surveyor to join a growing established team to assist them in an exciting new project that deals with their eclectic property portfolio. The role will be to support the professional estate service and project team for the Council in undertaking their asset and estate management responsibilities.

The Job

As an Estates Surveyor you will be responsible for carrying out a wide variety of estates management duties, these include:

• Lease renewals, rent reviews and undertaking valuations.
• You will also be involved in day to day management of property which will include visiting properties.
• Liaising with third party agents.
• Disposal of assets.
• Holding tenant meetings.
• Providing advice on recovery action/lease enforcement action.
• Acquiring new and existing property for the council.

The Contract

The position will be for an initial 6 month contract and has the possibility of extension, dependant on performance.

The contract will run off 37 hours a week, with homeworking and compressed hours available once you settle into the role.
