Our client, a large Rural Practice Surveying firm with expertise in large scale Renewable Energy, specialising in onshore wind and negotiation of option and lease agreements, has an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor/Renewables Consultant/ Property Manager to join their growing Perth, Scotland team, as part of their wider Scotland division.
You will have relevant experiences in project management and some property/land acquisition experiences and if you've an interest in, or experience of, the energy sector, then even better. However our client will consider someone from a developer background, and someone who has worked on onshore wind and infrastructure grid type work would be beneficial. They would ideally like to find a strong number 2 /second in command for the head of department / Partner of their Scottish business.
Their Scotland Division manages 500,000 acres of Rural Property from our four offices in Perth, Fort William, Aberdeen and Inverness. In addition the Division has a team of Energy and Infrastructure Specialists acting for a range of private investors and institutional clients across Scotland. They work on a wide variety of property task eg. legislation, practical points, development appraisals, landowner/land agent/landowner solicitor relationships, strategic recommendations, consideration of design and construction issues, and dissemination of contractual obligations.
If you hold a relevant property degree, and are RICS accredited, that would be great, but it's not a show-stopper if you're not. If you have experience in energy or renewables, we'd still like to hear from you.
The role will offer you the opportunity to develop and progress within a cross sector specialism, as the small bespoke team grows and expands. You'll get involved with everything, from advising our clients on renewable energy schemes, to negotiating agreements for infrastructure projects, managing compensation claims and assisting with valuations.
