Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Consultancy - East Sussex - Education, Leisure, Commercial

A leading Quantity Surveying consultancy in Brighton is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding office. The consultancy has over 30 years within the construction industry and have built up a strong reputation for providing a high class finish on all projects.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be confident in their ability to provide pre and post contract roles across a variety of challenging and fast-paced projects.

Ideally, the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be working through their APC diary, or committed to achieving MRICS.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyors Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be in client facing roles and shall be responsible for the majority of pre and post contract services, whilst working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

  • Preparing cost plans and tender documents
  • Contract administration
  • Cost reporting
  • Negotiate final accounts
  • Budget estimates
  • Site meetings

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  • 2+ years' experience
  • RICS accredited degree
  • Committed to the APC
  • Team player
  • Able to work independently
  • Good organisational and ICT skills
  • Confident
