I am currently recruiting for a Compliance Specialist who will be office and field based carrying out compliance surveys on top 5 compliance areas.

Description
The key responsibilities for the Compliance Specialist are:
- Reviewing the current and future programmes, to manage risk non-compliance through delivery of contracts and to ensure preventative measures are in place.
- Customer facing at properties.
- Contract managing.
- In the long run you will manage the delivery of the Electrical, Mechanical (lifts), Asbestos, Water Hygiene servicing and remedial programmes to the company's stock.
- Ensuring all aspects of the regional contracts are managed through your contract management experience, to ensure all key performance indicators are monitored and measured.
- Preparing, managing and monitoring all budgets of the specific area within compliance Electrical, Mechanical (lifts), Asbestos, Water Hygiene, fire safety.
- Implementing quality control systems for inspection and maintenance of your compliance area.
- Reviewing and making recommendations for change to policies and procedures and technologies beneficial in the monitoring and auditing of your compliance area to ensure customer safety.
- Actively part of an effective operational team, focused on achievement of service plan/department objectives.
- Providing guidance in your area of professional specialism to internal and external customers.
- Resolving contractor disputes and performance issues.
Profile
The successful Compliance Specialist will have experience in:
- Working within housing associations or local authorities.
- Experience of working on Fire, Electrical, Mechanical (lifts), Asbestos or Water Hygiene.
- Contractor management experience.
- Ability to manage in house systems to record all data.
- Have relevant qualifications within your desired compliance area or general building qualifications.
- Experience of managing a budget.
- Experience of managing 2 or 3 programmes at one time.
- Able to travel with the odd overnight stay (expensed).
