Sevenoaks District Council is recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK.  A multi award-winning Council we have recently retained our Platinum accreditation under Investors in People.

We are financially self-sufficient, we have invested in, and have an ambitious agenda to grow, our property investments, for which we have strong financial backing.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional to join our successful property team to develop a pipeline of investments in both residential and commercial property.  Acquisition and negotiation skills are absolutely essential as is the ability to work on your own initiative.

The successful candidate will support our two companies, both wholly owned by the Council, as well as our own property investment function.

Working alongside other experienced property professionals, you will require a professional property qualification and membership of the RICS, excellent communication and project management skills with an ability to manage positive relationships with all stakeholders.
You will be a self-starter, be able to present well to the Board, be passionate about the projects you take forward and able to see an acquisition or potential development through from start to finish.

Job-share and part-time working may be considered for the right candidate.

For an informal discussion about this post, please contact Andrew Stirling, Head of Economic Development & Property, on 01732 227099.

Our staff benefits package includes: Local Government Pension scheme, flexible annual leave & working arrangements, discounted membership of Sencio's Leisure Centres, excellent training & development opportunities.
