Town Planner - Client Side (Part-time / Full time)

The Company

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planner with a good grounding in planning, who is now wanting that ‘next step’ in their career.  With ongoing support, you will have all the tools to help you in managing a varied portfolio of projects, including supporting on the larger scale/complex projects across the UK.

The Role

The successful candidate will have exposure to a wide range of projects of varying sizes, both locally and UK wide.  Your new role will involve:

• Preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals and local plan representations
• Preparation of reports for site appraisals
• Supporting the senior team on larger scale projects
• Attending appeal hearings and public inquiries

The Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• A good grounding in a planning role (open to a public or private sector background)
• A good understanding of local and national planning policy
• Hold a relevant degree at graduate or post-graduate level
• Ideally be working towards full membership of RTPI
