Job Details

The role as Head Of New Homes Sales will be to take full responsibility for the new and existing sales and shared ownership arrangements from building site to completion day. You will head up the sales & Leasehold side of the business as well as supporting the development team by implementing new strategies.

The key responsibilities of the Head Of New Homes Sales will be:

  • Motivate and lead a team by training and developing staff.

  • Ability to offer advice from a sales pointer view, marketing pointer view and leasehold.

  • Agree a plan with the Head of Development and to agree to a marketing budget.

  • Bring in new ideas from previous roles with proven examples of making a change within a business.

  • To agree key performance indicators for the sales and leasehold team to measure team and individual performance.

  • Make sure the leasehold function is meeting the customers' needs

  • To forecast potential sales activity on up and coming sites.

  • You will deal with recruitment within your teams.

  • Develop a strategy with the marketing team to promote branding, developments and to drive sales.

Profile

The key successful Head Of New Homes Sales will:

  • Proven track record of coaching and developing a strong sales and leasehold team.

  • Vast experience in business planning with a development team.

  • Worked within a Housing Association in a Head of Sales role or has been a senior manager ready to step up.

  • Able to articulate and prove you have made business change and dealt with senior internal stakeholders.

  • A proven track record of driving sales within social housing.

  • Great knowledge of leasehold (shared ownership, help to buy and right to buy)

  • Knowledge of the social housing market.

  • Ability to show you have put a sales team in place and hit targets or ideally overachieved.

  • Track record of working with a marketing team to put marketing plans in place.

  • Commutable to Liverpool and surrounding areas.
