An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Graduate Surveyor in our Property team, based in our Store Support Centre, Bracknell.
We are looking for a Commercial Graduate Surveyor who has completed their RICS accredited degree and is looking to join a leading retailer and experience the client side of surveying. You will need to be driven and looking to build a career as a Surveyor by providing our business with a higher level of property expertise and improve efficiency and accuracy. In addition there would added responsibility to deputise in the absence of the Estate Manager.
You will have studied property law, commercial property valuation, landlord and tenant law, lease management and real estate economics during your degree course.
Key Responsibilities...
- Manage a wide and varied portfolio of properties and relevant administration
- Manage lease renewals, rent renewals and break out clauses on retail, industrial and office premises
- Validation and approval of all rent, service charge and insurance invoices
- Challenge service charge budgets with managing agents when contravening the RICS code of practice
- Conduct an annual lease audit to ensure accuracy of data
- Research market data and comparable information for rent reviews and lease renewals
- Run timely reports to ensure lease management issues are flagged
