Partner (Global Construction Consultancy)

Joshua Robert Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading national construction consultancy who are becoming true market leaders in their field. They have an excellent opportunity in Birmingham for a Partner from a Quantity Surveying background.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join an iconic and well-established business with ambitious growth plans – the Quantity Surveying function of their business is key to their robust and strategic growth plans hence this opportunity is a critical hire.

The candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading, coordinating and managing a team of Partners and the wider professional team.

The role will be varied and will take responsibility for leading a significant team while reporting in to the Board. You will take a lead on account management of key clients and large-scale significant projects across various sectors. You will mentor and develop other team members and senior leaders through the business whist delivering a range of professional services. Working closely with senior leaders in other PLC and FTSE organisations, you will build strong relationships and create new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Assist in identification of individual key target clients and contacts, including individual turnover and contribution targets for incorporation within business plan

Team Management
Line Management responsibility for senior staff; development, pay reviews , performance issues

Technical
Quarterly service reviews with key clients
Champion agreed sectors / technical specialism

Financial Management:
Monitoring fee income ensuring profit margin is achieved
