Job description

I am seeking to recruit an ambitious qualified Quantity Surveyor with a mix of Highways infrastructure and residential experience to support our Development Led Infrastructure team in Birmingham to work on some of our largest Capital Investment Projects.

You will manage relationships and collaborate with clients and external stakeholders, in order to ensure client satisfaction and create new business opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Who am I looking for

The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects/programme of works typically ranging between £100K and £20m at all stages of the projects.

Key accountabilities:

  • Extensive experience working in a commercial and change management role
  • Highways experience
  • Commercial management of NEC3 form of contract (pre & post contracts)/ ICC
  • Experience of working closely with external stakeholders to build client relationships
  • Enabling works
  • Utilities
  • Retaining Structures and Earthworks
  • Roads and Sewers
