Senior Building Surveyor, Norwich

An Independent Construction Consultancy, based in Norwich, is looking for a Senior Building Surveyor qualified or qualified from experience, the ideal candidate will have a range of building types, sectors and forms of construction.

The company specialise in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering and Building Surveying. Priding themselves on their expertise, approachability and pragmatic solutions to engineering problems in the commercial, residential, industrial, leisure, educational, marine, environmental and conservation sectors. Ideally the successful candidate will be Chartered. We would however consider AssocRICS with relevant experience and the desire to achieve Chartered status within a relatively short period.

The candidate must be able to work on their own, be an excellent communicator and able to convey the most complex of surveying challenges in a simple manner. There is a requirement to carry out building surveys and building defect diagnostic reports, with the possibilities of expert witness work for the right person.

The role will also include project management, contract administration and party wall work.
