Quantity Surveyor, Birmingham

I am currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join my client's team and work out of their offices in Birmingham.

My client is an independent firm of chartered surveyors offering a personal yet highly professional range of specialist services to owner-occupiers, tenants, investors and developers of commercial real estate across the UK.

Duties will include -

• Cost Plans
• Feasibility
• Bills of Quantities
• Management on Site
• Valuations & Variations
• Commercial Reporting
• Cost & Value Reconciliations
• Dispute Resolution

The person needs to be able to converse and prepare cost plans and to be competent with using the JCT suite of documents but does not need to have strong contract administration or Employers agent skills. The Quantity Surveyor will have 4 years' experience and strong PQS experience is a necessity. The Quantity Surveyor will have an RICS Accredited Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline, working through their APC towards Chartership.
