Senior QS Consultant

The Role

A requirement for a Senior Cost Consultant has arisen in central London (Liverpool St) for a multi-disciplinary consultancy working on a range of high-end projects.

Schemes and projects will involve Commercial, Residential, Retail, Hotels, Education they have some huge clients within the property industry so there is an opportunity to work on high value interesting projects.

This opportunity really offers a good chance to develop your career, they offer great exposure in terms of working and running multiple projects where you would not be pigeon holed.

There will be an expectation to not only deliver projects but mentor some of the juniors in the company.

About you

If you have always had a passion for the built environment, have a quantity surveying related degree and have at least 4 years PQS experience then this could be the company you are looking for.

My client is keen to expand their team to keep the number of projects they have now and in the pipeline under control, ideally the candidate would have sound technical knowledge but also be ambitious and willing to sit in front of clients now or in the future.

If you are a member of the RICS then this would be desirable and would help your application, if not my client would want to help you through this qualification.

The Client

My Client is based in the city, they work on a wide variety of projects ranging from £1m-£200m, and the MD is really keen on internal growth within the company so they offer a very structured plan to get to the next level.

My client understands work life balance and although they work hard to deliver projects they also have fun at the same time organising staff days out and a dress down early finish on Fridays.

In terms of package it is really up to negotiation and what your current skill levels and experience show, the salaries and bonuses are in line with the top firms in the country. Up to £65k.
