Senior Estates Surveyor

Senior Estates Surveyor - Sussex - 6 Months - £43-47 p/h 

To support the Head of Property Services and Principal Surveyor in ensuring the first class delivery of property consultancy, Estate Management and Valuation Services.

You manage the caseload of Landlord and Tenant work, general transactional, valuation and property consultancy work and to assist and support other team members.

To undertake the Council's valuation requirements including general valuation advice, development site valuations, valuations to support regeneration schemes, Right to Buys, Asset Valuations and any other valuations as required.

To advise and provide support in relation to any Compulsory Purchase Orders required and to provide valuation advice as required. Other Key responsibilities • To advise and provide support in relation to any Compulsory Purchase Orders required and to provide valuation advice as required.

To support the Head of Property in providing corporate advice and assistance in the procurement of all property-related services to ensure a cost effective service and to provide effective monitoring of service providers to ensure that objectives are achieved.

Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Extensive post qualification experience across the area of responsibility with extensive demonstrable experience in the relevant discipline.

Extensive estate management knowledge and proven competency across a range of valuation and property management practices. The Ideal candidate We are looking for someone with the right attitude and interest above all else.
