Your new company
The UK's largest small business landlord, with a property portfolio of railway arches, business estates and former station buildings after acquiring a leading railway provider's commercial portfolio, have witnessed substantial development in the past year and now looking to hire a Regional Building Surveyor to manage this workload.

This company massively makes a difference to the communities surrounding their portfolio by working with a diverse, passionate group of small business. These include charities, car mechanics, restaurants, bakeries, gyms, brewers and health clinics.

Your new role
You will provide sound technical support and advice to the Asset and Property Management teams and ensure the smooth delivery of maintenance and minor works across the London Region. You will work on a range of different projects within a diverse portfolio, including railway arches, business estates, former station buildings and other properties. These projects will typically range from £10K up to £50K.

What you'll need to succeed
Desirable: MRICS, MCIOB or AssocRICS

You will have strong experience as a Building Surveyor, dealing with ideally both residential and commercial properties. You will be comfortable carrying out projects from inception to completion as well as a thorough knowledge of statutory and industry requirements for building and construction works including the Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and Planning & Consents Processes. Experience working with railways and archways would be advantageous but not essential.
