Development Valuation Surveyor

I am currently collaborating with a well-known property advisory firm on an excellent opportunity for career progression for a qualified, registered Valuation Surveyor to join their Development Team. Due to continuous growth within the business, they are looking to bring someone enthusiastic and self-sufficient into their Development Consultancy Team.

The team provides focus across Housing Associations, Public Sector and private clients. The business are an independent firm and leaders in the property industry, especially in the Development sector. They show year on year growth and are they are continuously expanding their team.

The company prides themselves on the organic growth of employees and developing individuals within the business. Whilst developing your valuation expertise, this is a change to grow new skills within the Development team, which will fast track your career and make your CV stand out. You will be responsible for Development Consultancy to support the wider team and providing expert advisory services to clients across valuations and acquisitions. Key elements of the role include:

• Valuations for mixed commercial and residential new developments and new builds
• Providing expert advisory services for redevelopment and regeneration opportunities to clients and external advisors
• Acquisitions and disposals advisory services
• Red book valuation reports
• Town Planning - Advising on Developer Viability toolkits

My client is looking for someone who is motivated and self-sufficient. The successful candidate will be RICS quailed and a registered valuer. You will need client facing experience with the versatility to work with a range of individuals from private developers to Housing Associations. Salary is competitive and will reflect qualification and experience of the individual.

Key requirements for the role include:

• Red book valuation experience
• Strong communication and writing skills for client liaison and conducting formal reports
• Full UK Driving License
