Interim Estates Surveyor
I am currently recruiting a Interim Estates Surveyor to work for a large property holder in Teignbridge. This is a multi faceted interim role, that involves estates management and investment programs at the organisation. The role will be paid on a daily rate and is likely to last for 6-9 months.
My client is a large property holder in the Teignbridge area. They have a varied and significant operational and commercial investment portfolio. At this council, politics does not stand in the way of development of the property asset.
My client is going through a restructure at the moment and therefore are bringing interim resource to deal with a backlog of work initially, but with a view to be more proactive with the commercial investments and estates management moving forward.
The key responsibilities that the Interim Estates Surveyor will have are:
- Landlord and tenant
- Rent reviews
- Land transfer
- Supporting with investment and long term regeneration programs
- Valuations (not signing it off)
The successful Interim Estates Surveyor, will ideally be:
- MRICS (Estates) Surveyor
- Have experience of working within local government or worked on public sector contracts
- Has experience of working on general estates management work and investments program
- Be able to commute to Teignbridge on a daily basis

This role sits within IR35, but there is potentially longer term work at the council that could fall outside IR35.
