Hays are working in partnership with Translink to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their Infrastructure & Projects team based in Belfast. With around 3,800 employees across various locations throughout the province, Translink are one of Northern Ireland's largest employers.

Your new role
This is a permanent position within their Contracts division based out of Milewater Road, Belfast in Duncrue Industrial Estate area. In this role you will provide cost and contract management services to support construction project planning and delivery including preparation of tender documentation, cost / value management, contract management and performance measurement.

In addition, you will support Translink's Project Delivery function in developing and maintaining a best practice assurance framework for cost and contract management and to support the successful delivery of construction projects. Reporting to Commercial Manager (Construction Projects) you will work closely with Project Managers and external Cost Managers / Quantity Surveyors and Contractors.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you must possess a minimum of a degree in Quantity Surveying or other relevant construction related subject; Minimum of 2 years' experience in a construction contract environment; Experience in construction contract management and administration; Experience in measurement and valuation of construction works; Possess professional chartership or be willing to obtain within a defined period.
