Building Surveyor - Maintenance

Your new company

My client is a Public Sector Trade Union looking to appoint a Building Surveyor for their office in Central London on a temporary basis.

Your new role

You will be required to develop and implement a programme of planned and preventative maintenance for regional offices and provide these regional offices with day to day advice on routine property matters. You will assist in the preparation of annual budget estimates for planned works and to instruct works in accordance with financial standing orders.

One of the main tasks is to ensure Health and Safety Standards and requirements are met for professional property contracts and ensure contractors and consultants are appropriately qualified and competent.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in similar role
• Experience within maintenance, refurb or improvement projects
• Commercial experience is preferred but will consider with residential experience
• Be willing to travel around the UK

What you'll get in return

3 month rolling contract paying up to £26/day depending on experience and the potential to go permanent
