Associate Director Quantity Surveyor

What can you expect to be involved in?

My client has a successful in a range of markets, most notably in Retail, Education, Commercial Office, Hotels, Leisure and Residential. They are known to deliver on some of the most eye-catching and iconic projects around the world, and boast a number of award-winning solutions in recent years.

To give you an idea you would be assisting with stages of one of the largest developments in the UK that will change the landscape of an iconic city, as well as being involved in a very interesting conservation project along with the other sectors covered above.

The role:

• You will be the sole project surveyor on many large-scale jobs or manage a team delivering several projects simultaneously.
• Communicate with Clients, Contractors and other members of the design team to ensure successful delivery
• Manage existing client relationships while exploring and developing new opportunities in the Scottish market
• You should be committed to developing the skills of staff that report to you to ensure the business is offering clients an excellent service

The Requirements:

• Good experience across a range of sectors
• A good working knowledge of industry standard software packages
• Experience in, or desire to move in to, business development
• Concise verbal and written communication abilities
• Chartered status is preferred
