UK Estates Manager

Estates Manager | 3-6 months | Up to £400/day

My client, a leading landlord are looking to appoint an Estates Manager on a temporary 3-6 month contract to join their London office.

Your new role

As the UK Estates Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for co-ordinating and driving all activities required to ensure the UK property estate runs as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. You will ensure landlords are fulfilling their obligations under agreed leases and that IWG maximises its contractual position in order to successfully operate profitable centres. They will proactively manage and minimise all property related costs (rents, rates & service charges) through external parties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct our rent review, rates & service charge strategy
• Act as UK Property point of contact for Area Directors for existing buildings
• Evaluate concerns over landlord issues, and where necessary, take action
• Plan, negotiate and execute successful outcomes
• Work with new Legal Manager to ensure all works are fully documented as necessary
• Advise on potential upcoming estate management issues

What you'll need to succeed

• RICS qualified or part-qualified
• Proven track record in managing a large, multi-unit estate on a national basis
• Experience in running a rent review & rates program through 3rd party agents
• Comfortable making decisions evaluating options and considering consequences

What you'll get in return

Flexible working and flexible on working as they have multiple in London. Working for 3-6 months at a day rate of up to £400/day.
