The Role & Firm

Our client is a medium sized consultancy with offices across the UK, we are currently searching for a QS and SQS to join their London based retail team. The culture is fun, flexible and fast-paced with a friendly feel and tends to attract client facing professionals, those who wish to work autonomously while supported and surrounded by a competent and professional team.

The role is to work on a major client account for the business, a large retailer. Projects can range from 1 day on site to 3 months and you will work across several projects at a time.

Some of the team have already achieved this. The role is very client facing and you should have experience delivering projects within the retail, hospitality or commercial office sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an established office with an expanding blue chip client base. The successful candidate will be joining an expanding business with exciting plans for the future, both in the UK and across Europe.

Candidates must be degree qualified (BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent) and ideally MRICS qualified (support and assessors are provided if you are studying toward your APC), with 5+ years' experience and able to demonstrate a proven track record within both pre and post contract delivery alongside excellent communication skills with all levels of staff both internally and within client organisations.

A great team and work ethic are essential as our client is looking for efficient, goal driven, engaging individuals who prioritise innovation and flexibility. Candidates must be fluent in English with previous work experience in the UK and be based in London or be able to commute on a daily basis. Successful candidates will be offered excellent career development opportunities supported by a varied and challenging workload with progression and reward being driven by successful delivery and performance.
