Building Surveyor;

An award-winning practice in Kent is looking to bolster their projects team with the addition of a talented building surveyor.

My client is a multi-discipline organisation who operate in the public residential, commercial and education sectors. They undertake exclusive schemes from inception to completion which range from £200k - £2million. There is a healthy variation of including maintenance, new build and refurbishment programmes.

We're seeking a surveyor who has previous project and contract administration experience, you'll lead your own jobs while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The department have a healthy pipeline of work in Kent and the surrounding home counties.

Career progression is clear at the firm, they offer a structured APC programme which is headed by an experienced councillor. There are specific targets and objectives in place to encourage promotion and progression.

Flexible working is something which is accessible, some of the surveyors are parents and require coming into the office earlier completing their work and finishing earlier. Within reason you're able to work from home and operate from the sites. There is a very mature approach to the situation and as long as work is completed to a high standard this benefit will always be available.

• Schedules of condition
• Defect analysis
• Report writing
• Refurbishment

You;

• BSc/MSc in Building Surveying
• Started APC and close to becoming Chartered MRICS
• Private practice experience
• Strong project experience
• Full UK Drivers Licence
